The client needed to get out of jail quickly so he wouldn't lose his employment during the extradition process, which can take several weeks. We filed a motion to dismiss the case based on a violation of the statute of limitations. All charges were dropped by the State Attorney's Office and the client was released from jail without having to return to Hillsborough County.
